One section per athlete, one per team

Each group sees its own plan, and only that

Authentication gives every athlete a login; User groups decide who sees what. Create a group for the under-18s, another for the first team, and a group of one for each athlete you coach individually: each opens its own section, with the week's sessions on video and in writing. An athlete who trains with the team and with you one-to-one belongs to both groups.

Getting your athletes' app ready

Four settings, in this order.
  1. Accounts

Turn on Authentication: every athlete signs up in the app.
  2. Groups

One per team, one per athlete coached alone; you place each account yourself.
  3. Sections

One reserved section per group, plus the shared exercise library.
  4. The showcase

Your method, your qualifications and a contact form for clubs, open to all.

The week's plan, sent to the right group

One push for the squad, another for the sprinter, from the same back office

On Sunday evening, publish next week's sessions in each group's section, then schedule one push per group: the squad learns that Monday is a strength day, the sprinter that her track session moves to Wednesday. Nobody receives a message meant for someone else, because a push can target a user group.

An exercise library, filmed once

Athletic conditioning, plyometrics, mobility: a video of every movement you prescribe

Film each exercise once, with the cues you give on the field, and file it in a library open to all your athletes: jump progressions, sprint drills, eccentric hamstring work, mobility routines. Each program names the day's exercises; the athlete finds the demonstration in the library. Bandwidth isn't charged to you: a whole team watching the same video before practice adds nothing to your bill.

Articles that explain the why

Recovery, sleep, eating around competitions: your advice in writing

Next to the videos, publish articles: what to eat over a tournament weekend, how to sleep before an away game, how the taper before a final works. Keep a few public to show clubs how you work, and reserve the others for your athletes' groups.

AI for a strength and conditioning coach

Two uses, and their cost.
To calculate

Interval distances from each athlete's aerobic speed

Have the AI Extension Builder create a section where the athlete enters their maximal aerobic speed and gets the distance to cover in 15 seconds at 90, 100 or 110 percent. It is generated in your app; check the formula before you publish it.
Free
To prepare

The week's sessions, written from your notes

Once the MCP server plugs your AI assistant into the app, it files your notes as articles in each group's section and schedules the pushes; nothing goes out before you confirm.
Included

How much does an app for your athletes cost?

The store apps start with Premium. Private sections by group need two options, Authentication and User groups, both included in Pro. No Memberships module here: the app supports the coaching you already provide to your clubs and athletes.
Premium · iOS, Android and web$55 /month, billed yearly
Authentication, optional with Premium$12 /month
User groups, optional with Premium$5 /month
Pro · both options included$105 /month, billed yearly
Your Apple and Google developer accounts are billed by the stores.

App for a sports performance coach: your questions

Can athletes pay for my coaching in the app?

No: your coaching is a service you provide and invoice to clubs and athletes, as you do today; the app is the space where your athletes find it. Built on accounts and groups, it cannot also carry Memberships, the store subscription.

Can one athlete see another athlete's program?

No, unless they share a group. Each individual section opens only to its group; a team section opens to every member of the team.

Does the app record loads, GPS data or wellness questionnaires?

No: the app delivers the plan and the videos, it does not measure anything. Keep your usual tools for data; a form can gather a short questionnaire, whose answers land in the back office.

I work with several clubs: one app or several?

One is enough: a group per club and per team, each with its sections. An athlete can belong to several groups.

Can I also publish articles for a wider audience?

Yes: public sections open to anyone who downloads the app, which lets clubs see how you work before they contact you.
