Install your domain in CNAME configuration with Gandi

We explain in this online help how to modify the DNS of your domain name on Gandi's interface when you install your domain in a CNAME configuration .

Refer to this online help  to access link to other registrars documentation.

1. Login to your Gandi's account
2. Click "Domain" in the left column
3. Click the domain name you want to install on your GB project

4. Click the tab "DNS Records"

Important!
Follow this step only if you wish to install www.yourdomain.com.
To install any other subdomain (m.yourdomain.com, app.yourdomain.com pwa.domain.com etc.) skip to the step [4. Install any other subdomain than www to access your PWA]goto:1

1. Click the pencil icon next to the existing CNAME record under the Name www

- Edit the hostname for the value goodbarber.app. (Do not forget the dot at the end).
Note: for reseller apps, always check the value given for the CNAME record on the back office involved. 
- Click "Update"

2*.  Click the pencil icon next to the existing A record under the Name @
*this step is optional, it will redirect domain.com to www.domain.com and only works for wwwsubdomain.

- Fill the IPv4 Address field with the values:
Not Reseller: 130.117.9.110
Reseller:  154.56.81.111
- Click "Update"

1. Click "Add"
2. Select type "CNAME"
3. Fill in the field Name with your subdomain (app, m, pwa etc..)
4. Fill the hostname for the value goodbarber.app. (Do not forget the dot at the end).
Note: for reseller apps, always check the value given for the CNAME record on the back office involved. 
5. Click "Create"

In the example below, we set a CNAME record to install the subdomain app.saveria.top 

Once you saved your modification, an operation is triggered in Gandi.
The fact that the modification has been taken into account at Gandi does not necessarily imply that your domain name is ready. 
The propagation can take up to 72 hours.

Note: Make sure you validated your email address to Gandi via the email they sent you when you bought your domain name.
