What's new at GoodBarber? January 2025

This month, we're delighted to introduce a new feature that improves the experience of previewing your app. Now you can test how it looks on different mobile devices and resolutions, for optimal rendering on iOS, Android and PWA.

Another improvement is that your application icons are now classified by usage, with a visual indicator that lets you see at a glance which ones are active or not in your project. A simple and effective way to optimise the appearance of your app!

Below is a summary of developments and updates for the start of the year.

GoodBarber eCommerce App

  • Home section
    • In Content widgets, fixed some display issues when borders size has been increased. iOS
    • In Content widgets using the Visual Cards template, fixed an issue that could cause the view to automatically scroll. iOS
    • In Content widgets using the Visual Card Banner or the Immersive Card Banner template, fixed an issue that caused the shape setting to not be applied correctly. iOS
    • In Content widgets using the Visual Card Banner or the Immersive Card Banner template, fixed an issue that could cause borders to be overlapped by cells. iOS
    • In Content widgets using the Visual Cards template, fixed an issue that could cause cells to be displayed with an incorrect height. PWA
    • In Podcast widgets using the Classic Play template, fixed an issue that caused the separator to be displayed on the last item. PWA
    • In Links widgets using the Visual Shortcuts template, fixed an issue that could cause the link to be cutoff or not displayed. iOS
    • Fixed an issue that could cause Text widgets to not be displayed. PWA

    • In the comments page, fixed an issue that caused line breaks to not be displayed correctly. iOSPWA

    • In podcasts detail pages, fixed an issue that caused a border to be displayed where it shouldn't. Android
    • In podcasts detail pages, fixed an issue that caused '00:00' displayed as duration while the sound was not playing. Android
 
  • Events section
    • In lists using the Classic Bullet template, fixed an issue that caused the shape setting to not be applied on the last element. iOS
 
  • Map section
    • In lists using the Visual template, fixed an issue that caused the shape setting to not be applied correctly. iOS
    • In lists using the Visual template, now we display up to 3 lines of information instead of 1. PWA
    • Fixed an issue that caused the map pin to remain visible on detail pages, while using the Mapbox map provider. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the application when the user was picking a date. iOS
 
  • About section
    • You can now disable the zoom on images click by using an Advanced property. iOS
    • Fixed an issue that caused the close button to not be displayed when an image is opened. PWA
    • In Banner and Full Banner templates, the quality of the image banner has been improved on Desktop devices. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that caused the camera permission pop up to not be prompted. iOS
